Lower Secondary Math Tuition at PPLC are unique and powerful with curriculums specially designed to improve students’ academic performance in Math based on examination trends. The programmes focus on developing a strong understanding of crucial mathematical concepts through deep learning and problem-solving techniques. On top of that, students are exposed to real-world problems that allow them to connect Math and real-world applications.

Lower Secondary Science Tuition at PPLC aims to develop students’ scientific knowledge and understanding through used of comprehensive curriculum materials. The programmes focus on developing higher-order thinking skills such as critical reasoning, logical deduction and question analysis. On top of that, students are exposed to real-world problems that allow students to apply deep insights and appreciate the relevance of science in daily lives.

E Math or Elementary Mathematics, a subject compulsory for students taking O Level or IP year 3 and 4 programme. The subject built upon the fundamentals acquired from Secondary 1 and 2 Mathematics. The topics will be covered in E Math in greater depth while students master new and more complex concepts. Our Math Tuition programme provides the support and guidance needed to manage this change.

To prepare students for O-Level success and beyond, our students will be exposed to topical revision through comprehensive concept maps and noteworthy past examination questions during our A Math Tuition. Students will further solidify their examination skills through error analysis exercises and practice tests. If your child is from an IP school, we will “hand craft” the programme lesson to include topics that are not in ‘O’ level A Math syllabus including functions, graph shifting, modulus functions etc.

Physics Tuition at PPLC aims to develop students’ scientific knowledge and understanding through used of comprehensive curriculum materials. Emphasis is placed on grasping fundemental concepts before student are challenged with higher level application questions. Our Physics Tuition classes are designed to cater to students taking both O-Level (either Pure Physics or Combined Science Physics) and IP curricula.

At PPLC, students will come to understand the basics and make connections among the different Chemistry topics. Upon having a good grasp of these key basics, they will be able to solve many higher order application problems. A typical O level Chemistry tuition classroom will be on concept explanation followed by hands on practice. Students also learn through going through examples and exam question practices. Questions are being disected and analysed on the concepts being tested. If they can understand and solve Chemistry questions, naturally they will be motivated to do well in the subject.

PPLC’s O-level Biology tuition is designed to assist students in comprehending and mastering the foundation of biology. Biology is very much based on memory work with easy concepts to be understood.
